To ensure safe prescribing, all repeat prescription requests require 48 working hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be processed by our clinical team.
Using the NHS Electronic Prescription Service, you can order your prescription online and have your medication sent directly to your chosen local pharmacy for convenient collection.
Whether you submit an NHS prescription request through the NHS App or Patient Access, our GP surgery prescription service ensures secure and efficient prescription management for our local community.

There are three ways you can order a prescription online
You can order a prescription online in Coventry quickly and securely using NHS digital services. By submitting an NHS prescription request through the app, you can manage your GP prescription without visiting the surgery, making it easier to access your medication at any time.
1.Via the NHS App (Recommended)
Once you have set it up, the easiest and most reliable way to access your results is online, via the NHS App. You do not need to visit the surgery to do this.
First you will need to set up your NHS login.
Then download the app from either the App Store (if you have an iPhone) or Google Play (if you have an Android phone)
Once you are in the app, it will take you through the process of logging in.
2.Via Patient Access
Click on the logo to visit the Patient Access site.
If you do not already have a log in, it will take you through the process of signing up, or alternatively you can use your NHS Login.

To complete your registration, you will need to ask us for a Patient Access Registration Letter which will have a code in it to enable you to link your account to the surgery. Please take ID with you to collect it. Without this you can use the service but with limited access.
3. Via email
You can also submit a prescription request by email. Please email our Reception Team at cwicb.reception.doctorscoventry@nhs.net with your full details and all medication required, Your GP prescription request will be processed within 48 working hours in line with our NHS repeat prescription service guidelines.
